Since I/we have managed to put a divot in this otherwise fine thread*, may I just take a moment to mention my continuing quest for the elusive blue clip lead?

Well, both tweeters measure the same resistance across the terminals, so it doesn’t look like I have a bad tweeter. Is it possible to wire the L pad incorrectly and have it prevent the tweeter from playing? There’s 3 wires going to it. I assume the center wire needs to be in the correct position, but the other two would just affect which direction the volume control goes?

The other one works, and the crossovers are wired exactly the same. So I may have the leads from the crossover mixed up. I’ll have to pull them off and check continuity to see which is which. Troubleshooting continues!

If the wires on the L-pad aren’t soldered try by passing it and go right to the speaker. That way you can eliminate the L-pad.

Got it sorted out. Sure enough, one of the wires to the L pad was on the wrong terminal. I knew it had to be something simple. Operator error…

Those are not cosmicly encrusted Audiophile clip leads...

But if they work, it is still a victory!
