Lilacs are in peak bloom here in northern New York, time to sleep with all of the windows open and inhale. Time to spin Jeff Buckley's rule breaking tune of hallucination and loss, "Lilac Wine" on his Grace album. Best played in the dark!

Also, a great cover of Lilac Wine by Imelda May and Jeff Beck on his Emotion an Commotion album.

And it is time to whip up some lilac vodka.....you'll see colors :-)
