This is the thread to share your favorite (or current) audio listening beverage of choice!
I'll go first:
a Manhattan, of course!
I quit drinking seriously 11 years ago. Once in a great while I'll have a Jameson's.
Tonight.....a nice cup of tea.
An admirable endeavour! (The quitting part...I admire anybody's conviction to do what's right for them in this regard.)
Well, I was enjoying a nice, locally brewed IPA tonight.
My usual favorites are Beer, Red Wine, Scotch, Bourbon and Cognac... depending upon the occasion and time of year.
Espresso coffee (arabica beans).
I think you understate the love of beer.
Yeah. Beer is definitely the strong favorite there.
Speaking of which, I need to take a look at the Beer thread and see how it handled the transition. Maybe even breathe some new life into it.
Normally it's Scotch or bourbon but the last drink I made here while listening was a Moscow Mule, using locally distilled Valentine Vodka.
Damn fine too!!!
At the moment I'm having a Jamaican Red Stripe Lager. Haven't had one in years, but my wife is a fan, I got some for her birthday bash and there is still plenty left over. Waste not, want not.
Trying bottle Kombucha for the first time. Damn fine stuff!
There’s a place downtown Phoenix who serves a pretty tasty one in a copper embossed mug, gives it a nice metallic edge while killing off listeria. They do sneak up on you though (so I’ve heard).
Coffee. Nothing special, just a good roast in a dripper with some sugar and half and half. Gave up the sauce a long time ago, but coffee is my drink of choice for early morning tunes.
Captain Morgan & Coke for me, sometimes I'll change it up and have Fireball & Coke.
Home roasted coffee. Another one of my hobby's.
Coffee for the moment. Suspecting there will be some craft beer after rehearsal this evening, though. I'm singing (yes, not playing tonight) and it is thirsty work and there will be comrades who will want to hit a pub for sure.
Something I've had a few evenings lately that I'm not normally into - rye. I'm more of a scotch drinker when I venture into spirits, but last year I bought a bottle of Crown Royal Northern Harvest. When it was all the rage here as "whisky of the year" and you couldn't get it there was no problem in getting a bottle in the grocery store in Michigan for way less than half the price. Dang, the stuff is nice! Over one rock and sipped...
I'm a creature of habit. (And Bill Evans is in the CD player.)
And another Kombucha on the go.
As Burton Cummings sings These Eyes. Man, what a voice that kid had.
