Turntable Leveling

It was her idea to face the shelves with covers that are mostly white-space.
I sometimes go through phases of "themed" album covers. I've had all CTI album covers, for instance, as the photography was by Pete Turner on most of them, and Creed Taylor used a couple of cover/layout designers (like Sam Antupit with the CTI albums during the A&M-distributed era, and Bob Ciano through much of the 70s). I've also had label, producer, or artist themes. Lately though, I keep so many LPs sticking part of the way out (so I remember to play them) that there's no way to safely place records facing out.

The only "color" theme I sort of have is black, red, and white, hanging on the wall in LP jacket frames (not surprisingly, the IKEA GLADSAX frames). And while I kind of like having album covers on the wall, they're going away soon as I am more into the styles of the Southwest and have quite a few things to hang in their place.

Currently I have 3 2x4 (I was mistaken in my earlier count). They're not going anywhere... there's not room for them to collapse and on their side they're quite sturdy.
They are indeed sturdy, and mine are vertical. I also like the smaller width, as that makes them easy to reposition in other ways in the room without having to find a free space for a 4x4 unit.

I'd give my left earlobe for a 1x4 in the greyish color that was discontinued last year...those bastages...
